has anyone tried MAMED?

anyway i've made a selfbooting cd of pack 13 and after it shows the usual bootscreens and disclaimers, it just goes to 2 white arrows. pushing up shows 4 arrows, start makes it reload and the right trigger brings up options.

what the problem is, is that there is meant to be a menu not just 2 white arrows. what did i do wrong?

It sounds like you put your ROMs in the wrong place.

r they meant to be in the root directory are they?

on the included readme it said to create a folder called roms. i created the disc using exactly what the included document said.

so you've used it it290? is it even worth it?

Hmm, well, personally, I recommend you use the single game packs instead. There are a few games that run well with MAMED, but they're mostly the ones with pac-man level hardware. With the single game packs you can get some more modern games working.

I can't recall offhand what directory the roms go in, but I think you may need a seperate one for each pack you use? Not sure on that.
