Segaâs Scott Steinberg admits that Segaâs not a âpower-playerâ publisher these days, but some very promising partnerships could very well change that in the coming years.
Steinberg, VP of marketing of Sega of America, says that Segaâs got ideas that could make the company relevant in ways that differ from the old hardware days. Hints of this strategy can already be seen. For one, the publisher has forged partnerships with top-tier developers such as Gearbox Software, Obsidian and Silicon Knights to create games under Segaâs label.
