    Component Video Cables

Could be some TV-specific thing, my old Megadrive blurred up meshed transparencies (on Streets of Rage 2, part to of Stage 1, the bar level) with whatever cable I used - on an old 1988 SANYO telly. It also meshed together C64 and SNES games, and pretty much everything I hooked up on it.

    V-Saturn bios

Sure, don't you want your email and your home address attached to the files? Just in case SEGA wants to know too. But your comments make me feel that you dumped the bios files not so you can share them but so you can get a name for yourself. I think you put too much pride in a work from which...

    Games that Use True Transparency

A fuckton of games use transparencies, but many do for some minimal thing so they are not too noticable (for ex. the explosions in Saturn Bomberman are transparent too I think). Try playing Cotton Boomerang, the game has a lot of (true) transparency effects. For 3d the most the Saturn can do...

Have YOU Played Any New Sega Games Recently?

I'd say Crazy Taxi was the last original game by Sega. Aside from Yu Suzukis awesome games, Sega had dried up a lot in the past decade.

    V-Saturn bios

Perhaps you could be glad that they are mirrored on a site that doesn't die every 5 minutes like your page on geocities? btw, http://evilboris.sonic-cult.net/!trash/SATBIOS/

That one is a fangame afaik.

    Sega video conversion...?

They probably just used FRAPS to record them from an emulator screen.

Best way to rip saturn games

The Tosec guide is nice but they should put more emphasis on getting the correct read offset for your drive. Even a simple link to Accuraterip would be nice. edit: and by the way, I'm not sure if its possible to burn back the accurately ripped EAC cuesheet. EAC does not support binaries, other...

    V-Saturn bios

Does anyone know if the PAL Saturn has a different BIOS? When I run the USA bios on an emulator set to PAL mode, the sound of the bootup logo is out of sync, and the Settings menu says NTSC-C-V1.0xa (replace x with 0 or 1 depending on model). I remember that my PAL Saturn had the bootup logo...

    Sony's Cell Processor dissappointment

Sony's Cell Processor dissappointment Isn't that also the thing that was supposed to give the X360 an edge in performance? Something about that "unified memory architecture". Becuase seeing those numbers, it seems a heckova advantage to me.

    V-Saturn bios

Those are probably the same 2 persons trying over and over due to the forum opening the rar as a html page. I know I bumped the counter up to 8 or so by the time I could grab the file.

Perhaps, but no one had it other then you. So far.

    V-Saturn bios

You may want to upload it to some webspace cause the sites links it as plaintext. I had to log in with Firefox and save the text source as a zipfile to grab it. But, either way, congrats sir. You just made public another yet undumped BIOS file: the UE 1.00a bios.

    V-Saturn bios

The retarded bbcode kept phasing out the link so I put it in a code tag, copy paste it to your browser. dibz: what was the crc? as far as I know the only dumped bios files are crc:2aba43c2 from japanese console, ver 1.00 crc:224b752c from japanese console, ver 1.01 crc:4afcf0fa from USA...

    V-Saturn bios

http://evilboris.sonic-cult.net/Bios%20V-Saturn%201.01%20(J)%20[!].rar there you go. From what I can tell, there are 2 chunks of data where there are many changes between this and the japanese v1.01 bios. There are much more changes between every other bios version. the internal version/date...
