White Jap Sanyo Saturn Mod Chip; HELP!

I have a white Japanese saturn with the Sanyo board and I cannot get racketboy's mod chip to work. I've read through the sticky thread here and I gather that the signal wire should be connected to pin 71 on the bottom Sanyo chip. All the pics that refer to this install are long dead, so I'm not sure if I have everything correct. Does anyone know exactly how to install the chip on this model? The AB method did not work. As it stands now, when I load an orginal or back-up the Saturn boots right to the CD player and treats the games as an audio CD. This is very frustrating. Im not sure which pin it is either, or if it will always work on any Sanyo Saturn even if you had the right pin. If you figure it out please post something here so we can maybe get this figured out once and for all.
