Yeah, my understanding is it can actually be purchased now in any country. It's only $8.95 (USD) for the first episode of it, which to me isn't bad at all. I've played it already on GameTap, and think it would be well worth the price. I believe its the same price for everyone, but the $8.95 is in USD so other countries likely need to convert.
