Sad News for Nintendo

Nintendo is losing 2 major companies: Factor 5 and Silicon Knights. They will be developing for the PS2 and XBox only now.

Sad news indeed.

factor 5 did rogue squadron, silicon knights did Eternal darkness. They've both done more, but those were the first two that came to mind for me.

That is sad. I'm afraid that at some point Sega may pull out. They already pulled their sports games. I have to play ESPN Football on my stinking X-box now.

Sorry to correct you ice, but that info is false. Factor 5 has annonced that they are not developing for any current generation system as they are focusing on the next gen consoles... so no ps2/xbox games from them. And while Silicon Knights is no longer a 2nd party, they left with good relations with nintendo and may end up releasing GC games anyway, especially with a multi-platform game possibility.

So the big N really didn't lose either company, simply SK as a 2nd party.
