I finally got my Saturn from ebay, it was an october model from malayasia and it was indeed 32 pins. I had no problems using Mal's method and a jandaman chip. It's working great, thanks for this thread, it's the best source of Saturn mod info by far.

Thanks, I really appreciate that link! I live the U.S and it appears that all his findings so far were U.S models so it really helps out. I guess my best bet is to just go for a Saturn made between August - Novermber. Do you know if the country it was made in has anything to do with things, or...

I really want to get a Saturn to mod and after reading a ton of topics it appears the success rate of moding a 64 pin Saturn is very minimal. So I need to find a 32 pin Saturn. My only real choice for doing this is on e-bay and since 99% of the people sellinf have no idea of their Saturn is 64...
